Bio
Stephanie Rauschenbusch, a graduate of Harvard and Columbia, has painted still life paintings in oil since 1970 and watercolors since 1980 in studios in Soho, DUMBO, and Windsor Terrace. She has exhibited her work at Noho Gallery, Katherina Rich Perlow, Bitter Larkin, The Clocktower, the Florence Biennale, Prince Street Gallery, and elsewhere.
She has co-curated two exhibitions for the Women’s Caucus for Art and curated a Brisons Veor, Cornwall exhibition at the Painting Center. Her work has been written about by John Russell of The New York Times and Kate Millett in her memoir, AD.
She is a former president of the New York Society of Women Artists, a former director and co-director of Prince Street Gallery, and a docent at the Brooklyn Museum of Art for ten years.
