Barbara Feldberg’s work has unintentionally become a memoir of a life lived on three continents and six cities over a period of fifty years. The landscapes and different cultures of England, South Africa and the United States have shaped her work. She has painted friends over a lifetime and in different cities, recording them through childhood and middle age. Barbara Feldberg has lived in New York City for the past thirty years with her husband, Meyer.
Artist will be at the gallery on the following Saturdays:
