“The themes in my work have changed over time but what has been consistent is my exploration of human emotions and the relationships that bind us.
By March of 2020 it became clear that the pandemic and lockdown would change everything in our lives. I began a series on my kitchen counter with an HP printer. It has been a roller coaster ride.

This painting’s title was inspired by a line from Bob Dylan song “Desolation Row”.
The Salton Sea’s evaporation reveals a sunken rowboat next to dock ruins.
“…Between the windows of the sea where lovely mermaids flow
And nobody has to think too much about Desolation Row…”
