This woodblock print was a commission for a sheep farmer in Orange County, NY.

The timely “Darkness and Light” is a dramatic handling of an interior-exterior space, the dualities in life, and hope during a particularly dark period of American politics. Also minus the symbolic reading, it is a strong geometric composition that packs a wallop.

Painting the natural environment and pursuing its infinite possibilities of character and expression in various mediums is my focus. “Approaching Front” began with a beach walk encounter with impressive clouds creating an enormous low to the ground arc.
